Just putting it out there...

Not really gonna write about a ton on here today. Just some random thoughts and feelings I've held in for quite some time that I think it's time to get out. As with any MMO, you will run into the idiots who know how to do nothing except flame you about every little thing you do, no matter what your accomplishments are or how much you have grown. These people are very small minded and should generally be ignored for the most part since all they want is attention. In here I'll address some things that I've thought for awhile so beware of wall of text coming.

My mistakes: Of course I have them and anyone who denies they haven't screwed up somewhere along their Cabal life is just fooling themselves. Probably the thing I had gotten the most crap for was using Infernal Stigma on bosses and dungeons. Was it stupid? Yes...yes it was. Did it fail with it's POS DPS? Yup. Can I look back on that now, many months later and /facepalm? You sure as hell bet I do because I have revamped my combo from way back when I stopped using it(April I think). Yet there are STILL people to this day that say fail to me and use that as an excuse...I'm sorry to burst your little bubble here but calling someone out on a mistake they made many months ago is stupid.
Weapons: I know they aren't the best. I know gear needs improvement. But for my gear I do a hell of a good job with skill alone. Gear and skill go hand in hand. Granted you need to be good in both and everyone aims to excel in both. If you can be good in one and excel in another, you are on the right track. With me, I would say my gear is good but my skill excels. I do everything a good FB player should be expected to do aka debuffs at ALL times and know the key times to run if need be. If you are good on skill you can work on the neverending task of gear revamping.

What about accomplishments? Well...people who like to flame you really don't take those into account now do they? I got a perfect example(no names here...if you are reading this next example you should know exactly who you are). When I go all out in Nation War, I am basically guarenteed Luminosity Bringer(usually don't try all that hard since I HATE the stun/knock down/root). Now last week I had it and this certain person decided to go around saying I got it by building. Yeah okay...you can go around and say that bullshit while you sit your little butt on the Proc Resurrection Towers and farm them...okay then...sorry that I can get Bringer on DPS alone and not need to farm or build. :/
What other things have I done? Gotten to the final boss, Tyrant in Forgotten Temple B2F so many times I lost count. I can solo Forgotten Temple, Derk, Pennas, and Tanks. Tanks are a bit harder for me though and I'm still working on perfecting my DPS so I can do it in 5 SP bars and not have to use 5 Fury Pots to get a 6th SP bar. -.-

Basically in short, you can flame someone all you want. But you sure as hell better be able to back up the flame with you doing the same thing only better. If you can't, you just come out looking like the ass after sorry.

SigMetal Armor Event....

So OGP has decided to host one of the most creative events I think they have ever had. They are selling Helmets and Suits(SigMetal of course...) from an event girl in Green Despair. They come 2 slotted, PERFECT CRAFT!!!!! Zomg, 16% Dmg/8% Rate helm and 7% Amp suit. Awesome right? Well...yes...except they cost 20m and only last 7 days unless you +9 them. Q_Q

So I decided to try this event...and by some pure miracle I got the suit to +7...and then failed +8 and went back to 0. -____________- But...I decided I'm going to try again. However I am going to be prepared next time(and let someone else do it for me haha). My plan is to run Chaos Arena 3 times a day and hopefully get at least 3 UCH per CA. If this goes well, I will have 162 UCH at minimum by my hopeful date of October 7(day before the event ends). Not only that, but I hope to start farming Volcanic Citadel for even more UCH...sell enough of them from the runs to make even then keep the rest. Here's to hoping for a suit...

Busy week!

I've had possibly one of the busiest and most exciting weeks of Cabal since I started. Some of it happy, others of it the end of the road. For starters...I joined a new guild TangDynasty. Now this meant a LOT of good things; I'd be able to run Chaos Arena again, do Nation War more consistently, do more dungeons and boss hunts...well you get the idea. Sadly however, it meant leaving behind all my close friends in eXistentiaL. It was probably one of the hardest decisions I had to make on the game(felt about the same as when I left Functions for Ophirus) and it took me a couple days of moping around before I finally started trying to fit in with my new guild(which I think I'm doing...lots of LOL moments but you can see that below)

Now Second thing...titles and BRINGER...yes Bringer Again. Since I had joined a new guild and I was fairly happy with my gear, I decided to try for Bringer once again. Kind of surprised myself by scoring 1521 for the week...wow. o.o 300+ points higher than the last time I had Bringer. xD Now not only that, but I also gained Rank 14 Honor finally! The Honor title is called Praetor of Tolerance and gives pretty nice stats(150 HP, 3% Resist Crit. Rate, 5% Resist Damage). Not only that, but I discovered after my last Nation War I had at last gained the title Luminos Officer. What does that mean? Well basically since the Nation War patch in December of 2008, I've killed a total of 5,000 Procyon in Nation War. o.o That's a lot. xD

Now...about those LOL moments of the Guild? I swear these people are some of the craziest and most nutty I've ever met...yet friendly and helpful at the same time, as long as you can take the crude jokes anyway. xD There are a lot of fake pairings and couples which makes everything so much more lively because there is always something to talk about. This is just one of the many random and completely pointless chats that happen on and off throughout every single day. xD

BoF+6 GET

Been super busy so haven't got a chance to update this really(I'm temp. leader of eXistential ><) but I finally got a BoF+6! The damage output isn't all that noticeable unless you actually take the time to test it out. Then you'll notice you gain about 2-3 more damage per hit than before. It's not a lot but hey, every bit helps. Finally pushed me over 1k attack at least! Still saving for another one. ><

Just a stupid post I felt like doing...over 1.5k for a Nation War Score for a FB is quite impressive...almost 300 over my top score. Good work man. <3 you no homo. xD

Gravis Rota Solo!

This honestly has to be one of, if not THE hardest thing I have ever done in my whole Cabal career(yes...it rivals getting to Tyrant in FT B2F...at least in my opinion.) To be perfectly honest...I didn't even think I could do this with the Fury Potions I got out of the OGP lamp...I knew I couldn't solo Tank with 5 SP bars but I was still iffy about 6 even. Yes I know...faith in my character is great isn't it?

Thankfully though I timed everything correctly and even got a good drop! Upgrade Core Highest! At least I was rewarded nicely from it. It's not the best solo but I guess quite a few people have seen it already because I've been getting whispers on and off today saying "congrats" and such. So thank you. :) Video is below

At long last, new weapons!

Pontus Ferrum Wipeout

For someone that has duo'd both Quadra and Pluma, this was kind of a bit overkill. But my guild swept through all channels (2-20) in about 1 hour 15 min and just obliterated every PF boss that was up. Too bad no +8 cape dropped! Just Force Cores from Pluma and random UCH/H -.- Look at all the debuffs! XD

ZOMG! No FCH in 1 FT B1F run???

Today, I started my new hopeful dungeon running schedule: 1 EoD B1F, 2 VC, 2 LiD, and 1 FT B1F a day. Lately, I've been barley, if even breaking even in FT because of the overwhelming amount of FCH it likes to give. -.- However, the one run I did today was a lot different. I got 3 UCH, 1 UCHH and a FT B2F card! UCH sold for around 700k each, UCHH for 5m and the FT B2F card for 10m! I'm just happy that so far FT B1F is paying out a hell of a lot better than my VC runs...

Honor Rank/FT B1F

I think it's been like...3 weeks or something since I reached Insight? Not sure but I've made it halfway through...15m more honor until rank 14! -.- That and I've been running FT B1F solo a lot lately (gotten shit for drops too, what else is new in this game -.-). Hope to get a video up of doing Chakris with only 1 SP bar(didn't even know I could until I tried it last night xD)

Gearing up

It is part of every player to strive to be the "top" one out of their class. Without it, MMO's would basically be completely boring as you wouldn't be grinding and such for that piece of gear you want most. Lately I've been giving a lot of thought to some of my gear, mainly weapons and bracelets. What I have now(2 slot Sig and Topaz+7) are decent I guess you could say, but in my eyes they are temporary as better is out there. Same with bracelets(2x BoF+3 Slotted)

I guess Bracelets first would be the easier thing to do. I've been after 2x BoF+6 for awhile now(I know +7 is way out of my range...so freaking rare lol...) If I got these, my stats would go up total as follows:

Attack +14
Attack rate +100
Sword Amp -2%
Min Damage +6%

Basically all I would lose would be 2% amp, which I think the added attack would make up most of(not too good with math leave me alone xD)

As for weapons, this is so much more difficult than the bracelets. I'd need a Slot Extender High, Forcium Amp Blade+6(I'd prefer +7 but that's asking a lot ><) and a Lapis Crystal Perfect Craft Damage+7 Extended. Pretty much the stats I would gain/lose are as follows:

Sword:
Attack +21
Attack Rate +84
Critical Damage -20%
Sword Amp +7%

Crystal:
Attack -12
Attack Rate -47
Critical Damage +20%

As you can see from that, the critical damage loss and gain balance each other out perfectly. If I was to get the sword and ended up not +7 it(I'd probably keep trying xD) my gained stats would look something like this:

Attack +23
Attack rate +137
Critical Damage +0%
Sword Amp +5%

It doesn't seem like a HUGE improvement but I would push myself up to 983 attack and 47% Sword Amp without losing any Crit. Damage at all. The only problem that remains is money... >.<

Epic Honor Points

Ever since Capella has been winning so many wars, I've been going through Honor Rank 13 at quite a nice pace. I broke into the 30% mark just yesterday after only 2 weeks or so. Today though...I went and traded in my WExp, looked at my honor and...

WTF 60,000,000 LOL!!!!!!!!! I had hit 60m honor exactly, not a point under or less...I dare someone else to get that without actually trying to hahaha.

Channel 20(War) Fun!

Throughout my whole Cabal life, I had tried to avoid Ch. 20 since I always thought of it to be a "hackers paradise" for honor farming and such. I usually only went in it to do boss hunts and such. However, today for the first actual time, I went in with an uber party: Me, Dax, Super, Brolic, and Weapon (I'm really loving this nation switch thing they did xD). I don't know whether to laugh at the procs or facepalm or both. We all would BM+Aura and flood into Bloody Ice and wipe out 90-100% of ALL the procs there! WOOHOO POWER! XD Of course we were screwed once BM wore off(we'd just respawn and warp away fast and repeat) BUT I got 0.03% honor from all of it! At Rank 13 I think I killed a decent amount. :)

+7 Suit GET!

This suit of mine...I had entirely too long...and it was a total pain to get to +7, but FINALLY yesterday was the day it happened.

Total months attempting: 2 1/2
Approximate amount of alz used: 1 bil.
Total tries before +7: 29 -.-

But at last I got it! Only boots left now then full +7 gear! :D

Happiest day in Cabal life!

Yesterday, July 25, 2009 something happened I never dreamed I would ever see. The strongest guild, TangDynaSty, switching and becoming a Capella nation. To be completely and totally honest, this thrilled me more than I can really say. I was getting SO sick and effing tired of all the stupid noobs that were running around in Nation War acting like they knew what they were doing when, in reality it was taking a lot of them 20+ minutes to get 30 points...

It's just so nice having people that I can actually work with in war, that know what the hell they are doing and don't run away at the single sighting of an enemy and teamwork...my list could go on but I think I made my point. Welcome to Capella TangDynaSty! >:] (Pics below)

Updating Again

It's been quite a long time since I have written anything on this...to be honest I just kind of forgot about it really. I guess I should post everything that happened since I last updated...here goes.

1. "Cleared" FT B2F in new record time

When I say cleared, I mean all bosses up to Tyrant including portal boss. This was about the time we were seriously running the dungeon either every other day or daily before people started quitting and such.








2. Reached Level 170

On May 5, 2009 I finally attained the maximum level in the game. How I did it...I have no damn clue since I can't stand grinding. Constant Nation Wars (1/4 a bar per WExp trade), Chaos Arenas (maybe 1/3 a bar per CA), party grinding at Cronus in Pontus Ferrum which allowed me what all Force Bladers in Cabal want, the abilty to triple stack your sword buffs. :)




3. Eternity and I duo Quadra

4. Most epic drop ever out of FT B2F

Well...most epic drop that I myself have seen drop in there. Tookie ended up getting them but not sure what happened to them after he quit. Still epic though! If only they had been Force Blader boots...I think I would have died right then in there. xD







5. Got a bike

After ages and ages of wanting to get a bike, I finally managed to get a Blue Bike...not a RW3 but it's better than not having one at all. I have gotten quite fond of it too...wasn't hard to upgrade to +6 surprisingly. Guess it's a good thing I don't like +7 bikes since I can't +7 anything to save my life. -.- Only cost me one cash shop costume+200m.







6. Gained Luminosity Bringer title

After a post many months ago ranting about how I wanted Luminosity Bringer, I managed to get it for 2 weeks in a row. The first week was really fun...I will admit I kind of liked the attention it bought. It was kinda cool seeing my name broadcasted right in the center of the screen and I did use it to joke around with my fellow Capellas. Never got any complaints so I assume it was fine. By the second week though, the novelty of it had worn off. I was tired of being asked to shout and being prime target in war...I lived one of my goals. I think I'll stick with Luminosity Guardian. :)

7. Better Forgotten Temple B2F Video

I had only had one full run of the dungeon back when I had my fail combo (Infernal Stigma...ew lol) so I figured I should get a better video up. I wanted this to be my best video and I think it was! I still can go back and watch it and not find a humiliating section(apart from lag spikes which happens more than I would like) Watching it again, I noticed after Ispita our FA couldn't get back so we did the rest of the dungeon without a FA...holy crap... o.o

Ring Ring Banana Phone?

Just recently, OGP put the costume Legend of Yellow into the NAS system. At first I thought it looked plain ugly...way too bright. But after seeing some guildies with it, I figured I might as well get it...which I did. HOWEVER...it seems now that it has practically became the guild uniform.
SO MANY YELLOW BANANAS! XD

Back at it again!

For almost a month now, I had been having to go without my favorite dungeon in the game up to this date: Forgotten Temple B2F. We really had no solid Force Archer for it and that is a class you REALLY need for this dungeon(unless you are telling me you can withstand Ispita's 2.5k hits...doubt it) Today's run was special for a big reason: first guild-only run of the dungeon I had ever done before! We did have a new healer though, RespectPimp and I was a bit worried if he would know when to heal at the exact right times. Turns out went way better than expected. UBER HEALER HAS BEEN FOUND! ^_^



Finally after I had waited outside for about 5 minutes to ensure Pimp did not D/C(our last run had cut him out right after we had entered) I went in and was able to run straight to the first boss. It was nice not having to stop and kill all those mobs along the way...I wanna get to the boss dammit! xD This was also the first time I was able to test the new FB BM2 in FT B2F...I like the crits it makes...3,7k FTW! But in the end we got a FCH from the chest...way to go Jay. =.=





Skipping ahead to Ispita(2 mini bosses in between don't need to be talked about...easy stuff :P) I wasn't too sure which BM to use...I had ran FT B2F MANY times before and I know exactly how hard Ispita hits(2k-2.6k! OUCH) so I thought it would be better to go with BM1 to get that nice 6k HP that makes me practically unstoppable(providing I have a heal thrown at me now and then xD). First form went down easy, took 1 bm+aura extend then one BM again. I was watching Musique in the BM2 and sad to say, Ispita sniped him out just before dying the 1st time...I think BM1 is a good thing to stick with on this boss. 2nd form went down super fast(15 seconds maybe? We didn't even have the "HURRY UP" flash). Final form was, of course the most irritating and decided to take out half our party in one hit when it was about 3% away from death. Still we killed Ispita and I snagged the best drop of the whole run...Extortion Bracelet+3 slotted...=.=
















After hitting the last mini boss(Trugater or w/e) we decided instead of trying to get to Tyrant which we all had seen, we were gonna try the "nutty OMFG WHAT ARE YOU THINKING" sidequest...Nola Ispita. From what I hear there are 4 forms you need to beat...although if this is true I'm not sure. Anyway, I guided my party through what to do based on the broken English guide I had gone through many times. Well...Nola Ispita did spawn. But the mobs around it that were there stayed there. So we were getting hit by about 15 mobs+a hard hitting boss=almost instant death. Oh well...we know what to do next time. xD

Nation War lag free

While at a friend's house today who also plays Cabal, I took over it and tried Nation War for the first time on an actual desktop(mouse took forever to get used to...) and the result was exactly as I had always expected...RANK 1! I've placed first in other wars before but they were always the late night ones on my little laptop. Best I've ever done in a day war was about 5th place. But without lag, I was hitting 25 combos left and right...the frames per second were
AWESOME! I've never had Nation War go so smoothly.





Not only that but Capella actually worked on make Res. Towers instead of just running around like blind chickens with their heads cut off and the result was simple: win. Procs were confined to defend their base only without any chance of taking another point or else it would be Called Game in 1 minute. It's always nice to have teamwork for once instead of people trying to farm points everytime you turn around...

The Dream Computer!

Sometimes when I'm bored, I like to browse different sites and put together what I like to call "Dream Computers" which are pretty much the top line of everything. Why do I do this? Well...playing Cabal with lowest possible settings is kind of annoying and I think it would be nice to be able to play the game to it's full potential. I did notice on here I forgot to add speakers to the desktop system...oops my bad. Don't get me wrong, I love my laptop and how nicely it runs Cabal for not even being a gaming laptop but it's always nice to dream on what you could have...even if the price is an astounding $5,000 =.=

New costume...AND TITLE

Today was pretty eventful for me. I finally snagged my Pluma Hunter title after throwing fits about not getting the kill for about 20 Plumas. Finally got the last hit and...TADA Upgrade Core Highest dropped. Probably one of the best things you can get on a normal Pontus Ferrum boss hunt run.

Not only that, I got on a spur of the moment the Procyon Force Blader suit. I really feel weird wearing it since I've been Capella since I was Level 95 and just decided to get this at 167. I'm sure I'll get used to it in time.

My start to a blog

Well...my FA friend Eternity(aka Eternitoy) told me he got bored and made one of these and I've been viewing it on and off. Well, I'm sitting between Nation Wars really and got bored so just decided to create one of these blogs. I'll be posting Cabal related stuff here obviously so if you have an interest, keep checking back! ^^
